The power of gratitude in the workplace and beyond
While sitting at a stop light a few days ago in Midtown, something caught my eye.
I glanced over and noticed a well-worn, homemade sign nailed to an old, crooked telephone pole on the side of the road.
The sign was so small I had to strain just to read it, but I was glad I did.
It read: Thank you, Georgia ICU nurses.
The experience made me consider the power of those few words, and the enormous impact at that moment.
