WeWork to go public via SPAC led by Sacramento Kings owner and Tibco founder Vivek Ranadive

WeWork has agreed to go public through a merger with a Menlo Park-based blank-check firm led by Silicon Valley tech entrepreneur Vivek Ranadive that includes NBA great Shaquille O’Neal as an adviser.

The deal isn’t expected to directly impact any market where WeWork operates, including Atlanta, according to a WeWork spokesperson.
